Our Executive Roundtables are designed to engage and inspire senior executives whose organizations are on a transformation journey. Each month, a small group of IT and transformation executives are invited for exclusive discussion and networking with peers.
Hosted by Dominica DeGrandis, Tasktop Principal Flow Advisor and author of Making Work Visible, this confidential and interactive session includes an open discussion and peer exchange around capacity planning and making work visible to highlight dependency constraints on skilled knowledge workers.
Key discussion points will include:
- Why making the shift from project to product provides the visibility necessary to allocate capacity for both revenue generation and revenue protection work
- How to use Flow Metrics to highlight where improvements can be made in capacity planning to better manage demand fluctuations and increase value delivery
- Practical advice to visualize and minimize bottlenecks, work in progress (WIP) and wasted effort

About Dominica DeGrandis
Dominica DeGrandis is the Principal Flow Advisor at Tasktop, where she helps customers improve the flow of work across value streams. Responsible for introducing customers to flow-based aspects of digital transformation, she guides IT teams and business teams to understand and adopt new ways of working to improve performance. Dominica is the author of “Making Work Visible: Exposing Time Theft to Optimize Work & Flow.” She is a huge fan of using visual cues to inspire change and spur alignment across organizations.
