Dr. Mik Kersten
Dr. Mik Kersten is the Chief Technology Officer at Planview, joining the company in 2022 through the acquisition of Tasktop, where he was CEO. Mik founded Tasktop and is the best-selling author of “Project To Product: How to Survive and Thrive in the Age of Digital Disruption with the Flow Framework”. Mik’s experiences working with some of the largest digital transformations in the world has led him to identify the critical gap between business leaders and technologists, resulting in his creation of the Flow Framework to connect strategy to delivery. He started his career as a Research Scientist at Xerox PARC where he built the first aspect-oriented development environment. He then pioneered the integration of development environments with Agile and DevOps tools while working on his Computer Science PhD at the University of British Columbia. Founding Tasktop out of that research, Mik has written over one million lines of open-source code that are still in use today and has brought seven successful open-source and commercial products to market.
Dominica DeGrandis
Dominica DeGrandis is a Principal Flow Advisor at Planview, where she helps customers improve the flow of work across value streams. Responsible for introducing customers to flow-based aspects of digital transformation, she guides IT teams and business teams to understand and adopt new ways of working to improve performance. Dominica is the author of “Making Work Visible: Exposing Time Theft to Optimize Work & Flow.” She is a huge fan of using visual cues to inspire change and spur alignment across organizations. She lives in Seattle with her husband and extended family. She blogs at planview.com and ddegrandis.com.
Carmen DeArdo
Carmen DeArdo is a Principal Flow Advisor at Planview, consulting with customers on project to product transformations to accelerate their ability to deliver business value. DeArdo is a regular speaker at global DevOps events and author of Standing on Shoulders: A Leader’s Guide to Digital Transformation, which was named the DevOps.com 2020 Best DevOps Book of the Year. Previously, as DevOps leader, Nationwide Insurance, Carmen was responsible for driving continuous delivery utilizing DevOps, Lean and Agile practices and helped lead the Most Successful DevOps Transformation of 2016 recognized by DevOps.com. Carmen’s 2018 talk with Nicole Bryan was named 2018 DevOps Presentation of the Year.
Paninya Masrangsan
Paninya is a Principal Flow Advisor at Planview. Her specialty is in process optimization practices. Her experience spans from implementing Lean and Six Sigma practices in manufacturing and hospital settings to leading Agile transformations within Fortune 500 enterprises. She is a big believer in fostering an environment where talented teams can excel and do their best work.
Lee Reid
Lee Reid is a Sr. Value Stream Architect with Planview. Lee has over 25 years of experience in a variety of software development and lean transformation roles at two startup firms, two large firms, and one higher education institution. His experience ranges from software development in both waterfall and agile teams to leading IT and continuous improvement efforts. Lee has career certifications including TOGAF Certified Enterprise Architect, The Open Group Distinguished IT Specialist, Lean Facilitator, and is a co-inventor of four US patents. Lee has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from General Motors Institute, a master’s in computer engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Drew Boyer
Drew is a Principal Flow Advisor at Planview. He has considerable experience leading agile transformations and coaching at all levels in an organization, from startups to large Fortune 500 enterprises. Drew has come to believe that personal transformation begets organizational transformation. Through our Flow Framework Engagements individuals and teams can begin to see more clearly the influence they have on the system through which value flows. Drew is a husband, father of two amazing kids and a musician.
Chris Gallivan
Chris Gallivan is a Principal Flow Advisor at Planview. Chris has an extensive history improving flow in the automotive industry. His experience ranges from DevOps Dojos to Platform Engineering, from traditional software to embedded systems. Chris is the proud father of a two-pizza team and a lifelong musician.
Katharine Chajka
Katharine Chajka is a Senior Product Manager, VSM Technology at Planview. Katharine has 15+ years of experience helping teams and organizations leverage modern practices to improve business outcomes, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement. Katharine has taught and coached 1000s of people across all levels of large and small organizations on how to pragmatically apply change, reduce frustration and delays and quickly see improvements.
